Struggle 2 Adjust is the first new single from Pat Decline since his debut album Nine Lives in 2020. Pat, who can usually be found fronting Perth’s skate-punk troubadours The Decline, teamed up with producers Brody Simpson & Mark McEwen to bring this alt-rock, power-pop tune to life.
“We all had a lot of shows cancel in 2020 and I found myself writing a lot of songs to fill that void” explains Pat “Struggle 2 Adjust is about how weird and upside down life got for a little bit there, and fittingly, it took about 2 years to finish recording it – life in the pandemic had a real dragging on forever feel”.
