Proud to announce the release of a new album for our Perth punks The Decline today!

Magical Misery Tour is the title of their new compilation album, featuring all the stand alone singles recorded during the pandemic in addition to two new tracks.

We were pretty bored with our state borders locked, so recording some new songs about eating chips, sketchy life decisions and my cat seemed like a pretty good idea.

The Decline’s fifth album also contains fan favourites from past 7″s, splits and compilations like Fast Food; the no-contact-delivery-take-out-anthem, and Year Of The Crow; yet another Decline song about birds. It even features the highly controversial I Never Cared About Christmas which includes lyrics stolen by Nerdlinger (allegedly) and new single; Hillsong Of The Damned featuring guest vocals by Jay Whalley of Frenzal Rhomb.

The new album release news follows last night’s surprise release of The Decline’s Official Music Video for the song ‘Get Hyrule, Save Zelda’, which features on their 2019 album, Flash Gordon Ramsay Street.

Magical Misery Tour will be released on Limited Edition Magical and Misery coloured LPs, Digital and Digisleeve CD on Friday 25th August, with pre-orders available here 1pm AEST next Thursday August 3. Our good mates at Disconnect Disconnect, Bearded Punk and Thousand Islands Records will be handling northern hemisphere distribution for us once again, so fans worldwide can easily grab a copy too!
