Featuring the album’s awesome original artwork by Jaben at @pineapplestickers.art the LP sounds as good as it looks with eleven tracks leaving little room to catch your breath across the 35-minute barrage of high-energy skate punk teeming with socio-political lyrics. Title track ‘Make Punk Great Again’ is a seething commentary on the political environment, expressing frustration through jagged chords, a screamed chorus, and a spoken bridge that emphasises the contradictions of a particular president. In contrast, follow-up track ‘Lovesong 1959’ is a deceptively sweet cut, consisting of arpeggios, bass sweeps and rudimentary drums – a song dedicated to a 60-year romance.

The title of this album is twofold in its meaning– yes, it is a jab at a political slogan, but it is also a call for punk music to genuinely find its place again. There are so many great punk bands in our local scene that don’t get the props they deserve. We love punk music and want to share that love!’’
