Homegrown in the heart of the SoCal punk scene, CHASER is passionate, energetic, and melodic punk rock with a positive vibe. CHASER explain the title of their new album ‘Small Victories’… “it holds a special meaning for us that we felt compelled to share with our listeners. In life, we are continuously presented with challenges, each to our own degree. Managing our personal struggles, we tend to beat ourselves up when the outcome is not as perfect as we envisioned. Instead, let’s learn to appreciate and revel in the small wins that occur on a daily basis. They each carry weight and over time, have the potential to add up to greatness!” instagram.com/chaserpunk/

Punk Rock Theory
SoCal melodic punks Chaser recently released their new album, ‘Small Victories’. Produced by the legendary Cameron Webb (Motörhead, Pennywise, and Alkaline Trio among others), the band’s first new album in 3 years sounds all kinds of bright and shiny and perfectly captures the band’s knack for writing high-energy, insanely melodic punk rock tunes that would have fit in perfectly on the Fat Wreck roster back in the day. Just like The Corps’ new album, ‘Small Victories’ made me think of No Use For A Name more than once and it’s awesome to see that Tony Sly’s influence still looms large over bands today.
Not only are the songs absolutely killer, the band also exudes a sense of positivity that is contagious. The positive vibes start with the album title, which serves as a reminder to celebrate our small daily wins rather than beating ourselves up when the outcome is not as perfect as we envisioned. That theme is carried through in the band’s upbeat, highly melodic tunes that will leave you with a big smile plastered all over your face. 8.5/10
