Melodic punk rock quartet The Softer Side has been carving out their place in Jacksonville, FL’s music scene for years with a unique blend of creative song-writing, raw energy and heartfelt hooks. Formed in 1999 by a group of close friends from other local bands, such as Inspection 12 and Redline, The Softer Side channels influences from skate punk, pop punk, metal and even folk music to craft a sound that’s both nostalgic, intense, and refreshingly modern. The Softer Side has kept fans both singing along and raising their fists over the years with 2 full length LPs and 3 EPs, their latest EP being 2024’s “Deathbed”. The band is kicking off 2025 with a real treat for old fans and fans discovering them for the first time, with news of their new vinyl record coming soon!
