Death Cassette is a grunge-infused punk band from Winnipeg that blends melodic punk, hardcore energy, and gritty 90s alternative influences into a raw and emotionally charged sound. Formed in 2018, the band has built a reputation for intense, high energy live performances, with front person Amanda Sousa ensuring you are a part of the performance. Their debut release “Grim” and sophomore EP “Get Rid of It” earned national college radio attention in 2023 with “Reflector” earning a top spot on the Earshot Loud Charts. In late 2026 they are slated to release a full length album “Cheaper to Die” loaded with songs that can be shouted along to between moody sound breaks to scratch the grunge itch.
