Hailing from coastal WA town Geraldton, Alex the Kid are five close mates who since the bands inception in 2011 have been non-stop writing, recording and most importantly partying. With two EPs, a split with Brisbane’s ‘Columbus’ and many regional and a national tour under their belt, the pro-party Geraldtonians found national recognition and airplay in 2016 when they were ‘unearthed’ to play Triple J’s One Night Stand festival in their home town. The momentum continues with a national tour to celebrate the release of their debut album “Speak Up” a 13 track album full of fun, fast and energetic melodic punk rock! “Speak Up” was released 19 August 2016.
